Received an offer but it's slightly a paycut (not much) ..company knows but they don't have much more wiggle room (job in industry). I'm excited about the offer but countered as there was no sign on bonus...the title is a lateral move but they are saying it'll be 2-3 years till promotion.. I'm up for promo in January at pwc and have a great chance of being promoted. Would u stay till January and then leave..risking that the offer would probably not exist?

Hey everyone. I found out we are expecting our first child and I’m really nervous. I got into consulting one year ago and I’m up for promotion this year. With timing of our performance conversations I would have to inform I’m pregnant before outcomes - then shortly after the promotion effective date I would go on a leave for due date. I’ve worked really hard and I’m worried our wonderful news will throw chances with this :(- also if I don’t get promoted pretty sure it’s up or out. Any advice?

Just got a freelance gig for $1250 for 2 shoot days, but they’re asking for hourly rate for prep days. Not sure what rate to give them & if I should base it on a 10 or 12 hr hourly rate. It’s LA based & content/digital production. I’m not a fan of hourly rates, but I don’t want to lose the gig or end up agreeing to less days than I actually end up working..
