Bain & Company Is it truly easier to get in a smaller MBB office?
Have heard a lot for different opinions on these. The logic is that it’s easier because there is a lot of supply in cities like NY, Chicago and SF, but the counter argument is that the offices with less supply are also way smaller and have a lot less demand.

Is “Hacking the Case Interview” any good?
Anyone want to run Bain-style cases with me?
A BCG recruiter ghosted me after she reached out to schedule an interview. How long should I wait before following up? What is the common courtesy to give to ppl at BCG. I don’t wanna come off as too aggressive but I really need to get this interview set as there are other pending confirmations Boston Consulting Group

Just base in mind that if you join as an ASC you won't have the chance to get an sponsored MBA. Don't know if this matter to you
OP are you joining as a BA or is the role title any different? You may not be eligible for the same MBA sponsorship benefits if it's not an integrative BA position. Make sure to ask recruiter.
BA have better exits anyway
Nope. 5 years is the cut off.
Okay thanks!
Is this for integrative? What’s the role?
And location?
Out of curiosity How much was the pay adjusted by?

4 yrs out of school is probably a stretch to negotiate for ASC. Do you know about the junior associate position? I think you could ask to join as a JASC if you'd like. Pros will be slightly higher pay than BA, slightly shorter time to be designated ASC, main con is that you'll miss out on the BA cohort experience/support, which is actually quite valuable.
There should be JASC equivalent levels in the non-integrative tracks... but I'm not entirely sure. I know for example an implementation coach in McK Implementation is JASC equivalent. A junior specialist in the Expert path is probably JASC equiv too. You could ask if this options exists for your practice.
Can confirm that I was also recruiting as a associate with 4 YOE out of school. Technically the compensation should line up with a senior BA right? (You'll need less years to get to associate)
Yeah they mentioned I could be on the fast track to associate after joining because my exp. I’m not sure was Senior BA pay is though to compare.
I know a couple people with 3-4 yoe that came in as Associates, but they were laterals from T2s. I don’t think it is negotiable and it’ll all even out in two years when you make EM anyways.
Yeah good call out McK2.
Congrats! Would you be able to share any interview preparation tips? I have me first case interview in two weeks.
Thank you!!! That would be greatly appreciated!
