I recently joined TCS but I was moved into very different project which was told during hiring. Also they told me for joining incentive but later after 65 days of joining they didn't give saying your business aproval got rejected. I really want to be with TCS but due to project dissatisfaction, I am looking for different job. I am not sure if I can leave the organisation soo soon(4 months) and it should not effect my carrier.
Tata consultancy sevices
Hi all,
I joined KPMG around 3 months ago but I am not getting work here. Although, I qualified some project's interview, yet due to some internal reason, they considered someone else, and I again came on bench.
I am unable to figure out what can be done now.
Should I start searching work outside.
(I hardly see any job openings these days)

How's the resource management here?
(do they lagOff?)
Any inputs will be helpful.
Thanks!

Hi fishes! My spouse is planning to go to India but we would need to get her visa stamped before coming back. I see that getting appointment is such a huge problem right now. Can we get her visa stamped from a different country? In this case, we were considering Qatar, she grew up there and has her brother there. For what it’s worth she qualifies for Dropbox in India. How do I find out if Qatar works in our case?Deloitte
Some BS I noticed that I’d like to call out…
As we’ve all seen there have been layoffs happening left and right. However, there’s a right way to handle the situation.
Lyft isn’t one of them. I was with the company earlier this year on a contract to hire role that was ended suddenly. Then, yesterday I saw on LinkedIn that most of the team was laid off (including team lead) YET I’ve had a recruiter reach out to me to apply to my same old position with the team but…

Gonna try to be the first to comment because I already know everyone else here is gonna say to just wait so you could get more money but personally I say leave. Is more money worth your mental health? I think not. I left with no cpa and got 95k. Happy as ever and now I have no busy season and don’t even take my laptop home
Money isn't the #1 and I think making this jump and the WLB is worth it. If I can't get my CPA in time, I'm obviously not getting promoted to manager in PA and I feel like the writing is on the wall. I want to work on it though even just for myself and time to do that is scarce right now. Losing a part is kinda my worst nightmare right now too.
I would leave, sounds like a great opportunity and the backpacking experience would be worth it. You can always go back to big4 if you have the itch later on in your life
The Europe experience is a pre children planning bucket list item and my husband and I are adamant on accomplishing that as long as COVID doesn't get worse than it currently is by the time summer rolls around
I think even if you’re LCOL an S3 (regardless of cpa or not- it shouldn’t have much an impact as it’s not required on that level) making 80k is low especially with all the raises and adjustments this year.
I was afraid it was dismal compared to the market. Higher pay, less hours with WLB, I feel like this is a no brainer if I want to take a breather
This seems low
tbh I think KPMG has been behind on payscales. And in terms of this new position, it's actually not in Philly, but rather DE. Maybe that's the difference? Either way, it's more than what I make now, even if I stay for the mid year raises KPMG just announced. I haven't been agressive and the company I am going to is smaller. I need to reset and get my head on straight and it'll be a good place to finish my CPA and maybe go elsewhere afterwards.
S3 only makes 78k in Philly?? Damn sounds like I’m fixin dipp
I was afraid it was already so low with all the excuses they had about the firm taking a hit during the pandemic. Makes me feel better
I would hope 6 figs for manager in Philly
I guess it's technically Delaware the position is in. I just say Philly metro for general area but I guess if the position is technically in DE, might be why it's not 6 figs. I might push back if that's the case though
