Friends in PWC transferred to Toronto and shanghai offices
I've been hearing lots of negative about H1B in general recently. Jess sessions' is pretty anti-H1B
Trump!
Anyone but help in such situations is greatly appreciated. Any similar experiences from Deloitte or any other firms?

My friend was told she'd have to reapply entirely to transfer to a member firm. They were not helpful to her at all.
But this has nothing to do with H1B politics in US. It's just about firms helping their employees find opportunities somewhere else. Especially when firms boast about global mobility etc.
@D1 I heard similar stuff
Someone I know spent a year in London but had to separately interview with that office
The interview is fair enough. If only our firms could help us get those interviews and back us for the role based on past performance
It all depends on who you know. If you have a PPMD who is supportive of you they'll make something happen. It's case by case, they can't place every single person.
Pwc helps I know .ey does too .or atkeats gives out hr contacts if nothing else
A friend of mine from Deloitte was in this situation last year. Her partner helped her a lot to get in touch with people, and now she's in Deloitte Amsterdam (after interviewing with them). I can ask her what process she followed and reply once she replies tomorrow
@PwC2 Thanks!
Met 3 people at Deloitte orientation who are employed through the H1B1 program, so not all negative.
We had people move to London and Toronto for a year and come back
