What is SUNDRY allowance in Accenture?
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.

Guys there’s this boot camp that I came across that trains people to get jobs in Top consulting firms and has a fee plan wherein you pay once you get placed. I just wanted to know if someone here has any experience with this ?

Sign and work for a client anyway. YOLO
You cannot be precluded from earning a livelihood. KPMG clients wouldn’t be considered competitors. Restrictions against working for competitors can often be enforced for a period of time but that cannot be indefinite either.
OP can you send the actual language? My husband also an attorney and said it’d be hard to believe kpmg would put that in an agreement
Maybe post the specific language in the broader bowl. Some lawyers there might be able to opine if you are reading it wrong potentially or if maybe they think it is illegal with how restrictive it is. Cuz that sounds insane.
Definitely get an employment lawyer. If you get a job in a right to work state does non-competes are almost impossible to enforce. It also cost money for the companies to try to enforce them so they really only ever do it in the example of a partner or very senior director leaving and somehow taking clients for a project with them.
If you sign it, you will get in trouble... just get a lawyer

What does your employment contract say? If you signed that and those were the stipulations you make have a battle to fight. Not me, but a former coworker was let go with a contract similar to this, a client wanted to hire him and he did not think the company would put up a fight. Needless to say, they did and he is not at the client but another firm. Good luck.
What role did you have in the firm?
1 year is typical, 2 years at the outset.
Yes, it can be enforceable.
