I left Accenture Strategy right before the regional model got announced. How has it affected things at the Consultant and below level?

Currently a paralegal at a small start up financial services company been there for just a little over a year. I wear “multiple hats” but more recently I’ve done a lot of PM work and some BA work. My position title is changing soon but I’m wondering how helpful that would be for wanting to go into PM work at a tech company. Anyone have any career pivot advice? (Also I’m only 1.5yrs old in my career so I’m definitely still new, and I have previous experience as a project assistant).

Is it easy to switch from niche litigation like ip to something broader?

Has anyone made the transition from non-profit and small firm practice to federal government, big law, in-house? I received a 2 year continued service agreement costing $12,000 in effect fot individuals who 'leave voluntarily' within the allotted timeframe. Will I actually have to pay for the costs of training if I don't end up liking the job? Are these enforceable? What are the parameters of 'leaving voluntarily?' Thank you!

My wife is in sales at Mercedes and she has been averaging $200k a year and growing YoY. She loves her job, however she works long days and barely gets time off. We plan on having kids within the next year or two, and it’s highly u likely that she’ll be able to keep her current gig. We want to find a career that allows her to work remote or that at least gives her a better work life balance so that she can see her kids grow up.
