Hi All,
I just got a call from KLA Company's HR that I have cleared final round and there is a HR round today evening for salary discussions.
The role is for Frontend Developer(Angular).
I have 3.1 years of experience.
CCTC - 13.2 LPA (all fixed)
Holding offer of 17.5 from service company in Pune.
Does anybody have any reviews for this company for the s/w department?
How much should I ask?
What are the other ways I can negotiate? Like do they provide RSUs?
KLA Corporation
Thank you

Nope. A range is the way to go. Now if they come in at the bottom of your range you’ll know they’re trying to be cheap. Never lock into a specific # or disclose current comp. Anchor the minimum of your range high enough that it’d be a nice win for you and set the top high enough that it’d blow your mind if they offered it. Sounds like that’s what you did if I’m understanding right.
Yes correct! I accidentally slipped and said “if I’m looking to get 30% more than this is my range” I think I let out how much I make. Guess you learn as you go.
Would you be willing to accept 25k less than your range?
Yes definitely lol
Curious:
(1) did you ask the recruiter about uthe budget for the role?
(2) how did he/she react when you mentioned the range?
Yes it was, but let’s see! Thank you for your advice
