If you are SC at D, ask for SM equivalent at GT. They don't operate at the same level and their pay is significantly less.
This is a lie. I’m former GT. SC does NOT equal SM. SM at D is lateral at GT. SC=M.
A or C = M. SC or M = SM. M bringing immediate sales/client base = Director.
To answer your question, Analyst at D= Associate at GT. Experience consultant or newbie SC= SA at GT. Experience SC or newbie M at D= M at GT. Mayyyybe experienced M and SM at D = SM at GT.
GT levels are Associate, Sr Associate, M, SMD (SM or Director depending on chosen track), then PPMD (Partner, Principal or MD, depending on your track and CPA status).
SC at Deloitte does not necessarily map to M due to engagement management experience expectations. This can be a case by case basis depending on work experience and GTs needs. M also has sales targets. Along the same lines, M at D doesn't translate to SM at GT due to it being the level before PPMD, and also a bigger focus on sales in addition to overseeing multiple client engagements.
However, if you are on the cusp of promo, and your work exp lines up with the need, you can make the case for a promo-hire to GT.
Wow you’re going from D to GT 😂
