Return to office... is this being enforced at your firm, or is it fairly lax? How are they enforcing and what are the consequences?

Lax. Enforced via free in office lunch bribery.

Would you mind sharing which firm? Should have included this in post

I would lateral if my firm strictly enforced RTO. Lax here as well.

Pretty lax. But I sense the winds shifting a little and predict they’ll put the screws to people to come back using the summer program as an excuse (barring another uptick of course).

like

Staff is already expected to be in office full time. Attorneys were told to be able to commute with expectation to be in during the free lunch days.

No policy, do what you want @ cahill

Sort of lax, but we have been getting bribed with bagels in the morning once a week. A shift is definitely coming, they’ve already mentioned being around for summers and that they’re tracking key card swipes to see if office space is underutilized (those who don’t come in regularly should be prepared to lose their office and have to use a visiting atty office if they do have to come in)

helpful

I feel like my firm might do that too (regarding the offices) and I don’t get it…like if you take away my office, I will come in less…not more.

Lax at Mintz NY but apparently not so much in Boston.

Looking for potential roles in PDX. Posting a redacted resume. The heading on this resume is for customer solutions professional, but I am also really great with data entry and very tech savvy. I am also taking classes in python. Something in the greater PDX area would be strongly preferable since I don't have a car (I do have a driver's license, just to clarify) unless the work is within a reasonable commute. I also have a lot healthcare experience. Ping me!

I’m a first year associate (almost second year). I work at a national firm and I’m not a litigator. When I started with the firm, I was told I could work out of any office. Long story short, I regret choosing the office that I chose. I’d like to transfer to another office - is that a difficult ask? I’m licensed in the state I’d like to transfer to. I don’t know how to make this request.

Hi, weird question for this forum, so I apologize. I’m trying to be creative here and use the tv stand that I have. The issue is that it has an open back so you can see all my tv wires. I can’t hide the wires because my building won’t let me open the wall. My idea was to slip a tile sheet that is wall behind the tv stand as a back, but I need the tile cut to the specific heigh and width of the tv stand. Does anyone know where I can take this tile sheet to get cut to the specific measurements?
