How much would my tech stack and language be a factor in getting selected in faang or good product based companies?
I'm asking from getting my resume selected to getting an offer.
I read everywhere that only DSA and system design is needed, but I'm still concious about my tech stack.

No in all seriousness my first round (experienced hire) with ACN was pretty much a joke. Chat with the recruiter, talk a little about my current job and skills, ask about why I’m interested in consulting/Accenture, make sure I’m cool with travel, etc. I don’t remember if there were any behavioral questions about specific experiences but I remember it being a pretty easy gatekeeping interview. Next one was a different story tho
First round with recruiter is really basic. They look for some key words in the job description. Make sure you mention them in your answers and background. Rest is all basic questions travel, work visa eligibility, expected compensation etc.
My guy was actually pretty plugged into my practice (FS) and seemed to look for my experience having done consulting-like work in the past (came from tech). No crazy hard questions but it wasn’t all boiler plate stuff. Idk I wouldn’t stress about it
In the PD they say “it is our intention for our people to work where they live, however, in the context of our profession and serving our clients there may be times when you will need to travel”
Most other PDs list a %...is this just a clever ploy to make it look like there’s not a lot of travel? Is it reduced from other firms?
Depends on your practice but ACN is definitely trying to move toward local projects to cut costs. This works both ways ... it’s nice if you don’t need to travel but I’ve heard of people getting stuck on the bench and not being pulled onto projects elsewhere. Some people like it some people don’t but it really depends on what group you’re joining.
Getting blocked from stuff has not been my experience. Typing this from a cab to the airport in Texas before my flight back to the northeast.
