Seeking advice. Currently SM at Accenture base pay 195. Anticipating offer from Oliver Wyman but for engagement manager role. That’s at best a lateral move. Based on comp estimates from Glassdoor, I can’t expect much of a bump. Work would be better at OW but would be starting over network and reputation wise. Any perspective or similar experiences would be appreciated.

OW have had recent pay rises which won’t yet be reflected on Glassdoor

OW HR must have spies on the app. No one from OW has been brave enough to share

Would you stay at ACN for 220 base? If yes, stay and negotiate. Everyone is desperately trying to retain good talent. 190 is low

Total comp for M1 should be 250k plus, I would be shocked if your first year total comp was south of 300k once you include signing bonus

I would be careful jumping at this stage of your career? How far do you think you are from MD?

Also, check what is the career levels and progressions at Engagement manager level and estimated time to progress up?

The change might be good from pay point of view however if you are 2-3 yrs from MD , I would stay..
But again, I am not sure about your support system, practise etc and that will play a role..

Sick of my practice. Feeling pigeon holed and stagnant so not really interested in making MD anytime soon.

I’ve done some soul searching of late and established I’d love to be offered a FTE role in my current company. I think this is partly due to never having had a full time job which I’ve enjoyed and which have valued my contributions. I think this is due to wanting to feel accepted. I know acceptance needs to start with me etc but I think redundancy and workplace gaslighting has meant I’ve never achieved growth and status in one company where I can truly grow. Anyone else has this?

If anyone has done research regarding cost of living in Denmark earlier, please share your thoughts on this, it would be very helpful. They are willing to offer 60k euros, but I feel 36 lpa in india is better deal. Companies are equivalent.
