Seeking advice on 401k: Recently joined PwC and initially was planning to transfer prev 401k into PwC’s so that I have the option to back door/mega in the future but seems like that won’t be an option anymore. With that said, should I:
1) Just roll over current balance into Vanguard IRA (and potentially convert to Roth IRA). PwC’s investment options aren’t great! 2) Consolidate into PwC 401k
With the passage of bill still uncertain, I’m not sure what to do.

3) do nothing yet. Does your old company require move/are the fees that high?

SM1 is right. Hold on to it a little bit longer and watch for BBB progress. It is highly unlikely that there would be an automatic conversion but fees may not be worth it to keep it there. Compare that with PwC fees.
Converting to Roth is ok if the amount is small otherwise you will get hit with taxes so it depends.

The way BBB is going, I don’t see any way it will be passed this year. We might just get another year of backdoor and Mega Backdoor 🤞

Any benefits for employees by this merger?

I have a MHA, MBA, and BSHA. I’m wanting to get into a supervisor or manger role but I don’t have the experience. Does anyone have any suggestions on how I dive in and start getting the experience I need? I live in Washington and work in Oregon. Also, anything using my MBA would be favored as well, this degree is not healthcare specific. Thank you!

I’m 25 and have found a duplex I’m considering purchasing as a rental property. Planning on renting both units and have the cash to make the down payment without an issue. My cash flow analysis has a payback period of 3 years for my down payment and a 13 year payback period for the whole investment. I think financially it makes sense. My question is, is it realistic for a 25 year old young professional to handle dealing with all the extra curricular’s that come with owning a rental property ?
