Why do people hate on implementation so much?
Thinking about accepting a software engineering offer for BCG Digital Ventures . can anyone working there tell me about the work culture, learning opportunities, and exit opps . Im also interviewing with Zillow and am deciding wether to wait or take an offer. I’m really intrigued by the idea of building ventures and learning alot on the technical and entrepreneurial sides, but the opportunity to work for a tech unicorn is also very intriguing

1. Focus mode on iPhone that only allows calls from key clients and senior leaders
2. time box diary to specific tasks to start measuring how long it takes you to complete specific tasks
3. Keep a log for first week of your average times
4. Then try to beat those times by getting faster and smarter as you’ll find shortcuts etc
5. Mute Teams / Slack etc unless it’s relevant to your deliverables or key meetings

Or just block out a few days in the week, to work on only your own tasks/priorities.

haha nice
I block off time on my outlook when I know I require no interruptions. Of course I can’t help when a senior leader throws a mtg in regardless
