Seeking advice. I’m a senior finance analyst looking to make a jump above 6figures in a MCOL market. Many job postings I see ask for experience in investment banking which I don’t have. Don’t have CPA either but I do have a CMA which doesn’t seem like is doing much for me. I self taught some SQL, power query and PBI but still don’t feel competitive enough. What should I focus on in order to really stand out and make that six figure salary? I do also work without supervision.

I have done masters in commerce and i have experience of 3.5 yrs working on support project related to Bloomberg fundamentals consultation with bare minimum package of 2.6 lpa as a ctc. Is doing some courses from after market such as power bi ,sql etc will help me to raise my package or should i switch by upscaling my skill or without it as environment is toxic and they will not let me grow.kindly share your insight to help me choose better career path.

What are actionable items one should strive for when trying to grow as a designer after landing their first role? I hear a lot about ways to grow to land the first job but very little about how to improve after you know the basics.
