Had a client share their screen recently. He wasn’t expecting to share and had to ask how to do so. Once he clicked share, we could see that he was watching a YouTube titled something like “thick girl trying on bikinis”. He quickly clicked onto another app and was pissed off the rest of the call.

So specific 🤣🤣🤣
One of the new analysts joined a call topless from her room early on in 2020 when we were getting used to video calls. She was also the only person on video on the call so she promptly filled the whole screen…in several ways.
Took her a solid 5 seconds to realize what had happened and she never rejoined the call after she dropped. I think she rolled off the project after that. Tough break.
Was she good?
Nothing too bad, but did mistakenly think I was on mute and coo in baby talk to my dog, telling him I love him and he’s a gentleman and my soulmate. Went on for a good minute, I think people were too dumbfounded to say anything.
Guy on our call spilled hot coffee on his lap because he stood up and away from his desk suddenly. Bro didn’t have pants or draws on. His polo was long enough that we didn’t see the full Monty, but short enough to see what he was working with. Haha since then my camera is off, and a piece of tape over it.
I have a small piece of scotch tape over both my phone's cameras too. zoom loves to start with video on for some of my project meetings. 😱 The tape blurs everything and is easy to remove.
Did they see the goods?

I’m assuming you’re a man if an upward view wasn’t damning lol
On a 100+ person call receiving updates with clients, our team, and another consultancy team. One consultant accidentally unmutes themselves and is sobbing that they hate their team, their manager, and that they can’t do it anymore and need to quit. At first the client VP tried to keep speaking but then it was 10 seconds of us listening until someone could mute her.
What happened to the consultant? Did they quit/were fired?
This was a while back, but I was on a client call and my bit ended but I hadn't dropped. This was back in the dial into a call days, so pre zoom and teams. I was close to my client team and sent them invitations to my wedding out of state as a courtesy. I knew none could make it but they had asked. They started ripping apart my invitations because I'd neglected to write their name + guest. I was devastated. I couldn't believe they were being so critical. They were very nice invitations too. They did send a nice team gift, but the criticalness haunted me
Not as bad as other stories here, but at the beginning of the first lockdown my client answered from what I think was his room, where in the background we could see a large poster of a woman in a bikini (one of those embarrassing ones they show men having in garages in old movies). I was a 24yr woman leading the call, so my manager thought it was quite funny (he messaged me about it)
The funny part was that it was not an accident and the client didn’t think anything of it. He had that same poster on follow-up calls too. Definitely a weird dynamic
