Hi all! I’m looking to connect with folks who either work at Coinbase or have interviewed recently for the Business Operations and Strategy Manager or similar role. I am looking to schedule my first interview which I believe is a consulting style case. So any details you can provide, I am all ears. The next interview will be a presentation. Again if you have any experience/advice on this, I’m ready to listen.

Hiring is typically a lagging indicator of strength/struggle in a company. Don’t let the worry bog you down but don’t think that an open position means job security for the winning candidate either. Good luck!!!
I just got hired in December for a financial analyst position when the job market is awful. Anyone can get hired in bad times as long as they are a strong candidate. Good luck to you man
Ask about the exact scope of work to determine - if HM is wishy washy about role and objective, don’t take it as it’s likely HM over promised on something to their higher up; if HM has clear operational needs from day to day and you have solid responsibilities then it’s good to go 👍
All good companies have a growth strategy, and many still need to hire in the areas their growth strategy depends on. When you’re interviewing, do what you can to suss out whether the group or division the role is in is part of that company’s growth strategy, because if it is, you can assume you’d be safe even if that company does layoffs.
