Yidden, I've been slowly drifting away from religion. It's odd because I used to be so connected, and I still retain the same values! In a meeting we a client, we were looking at a stock image of a smiling Black man holding a baseball bat while wearing a hoodie. The client comments that it’s the wrong way to hold a bat. Cool. But, then follows up and says, “Also, he just looks aggressive. Like, this person would definitely attack me and my family.” I was shocked. But, apparently, I was the only one. Because everyone else on the call laughed. They were all white except for my partner who is Mexican. But, he still chuckled.
