So a boss (vice president) tells his people that they need to fear him like bible says people did Jesus for the first 2 days. I haven’t read the Bible so this is just what he says. Then proceeds to say that no women can lift anything they just can’t do it without getting hurt. He will openly tell everybody that when he walks into the room everyone needs to fear him. But wants culture change but if you make a mistake your fired I have seen 3 people fired in 3 weeks.

The exception to that, though, was David's insightful comment that leadership knows and expects that many of us are struggling to come back from the pandemic, and it's okay to ask for help and or take a leave. Digital culture, and how we are real and take care of each other, is just AMAZING. That speech alone made me so proud to be here and turned around a lot of my negative thoughts.

Interviewed for 5.5 hours today at a boutique IB today. Base comp is a slight bump. 14 mos in FDD @ PwC who will make senior this CRT - love the role but want to see more of the transaction besides TBs and TB detail. Comp isn’t a huge bump but the IB seems to have a good culture. 20 people. I really am struggling. I worried about FDD golden handcuffs with limited exit ops. Please advise!!! The micromanaging is unbearable. The lack of trust is mind boggling. The constant berating in emails sent to multiple people instead of privately is just asking for trouble. I’m at my wits end and all my AGM can say is suck it up
