So a recruiter reached out to me for a role and wants to set up an interview in the next couple of weeks. Separately a manager from the same company who I previously knew/worked with from another company reached out and wanted to just talk and connect about the role before my interview. Since we chatted I haven’t heard anything from the recruiter about a scheduled interview. Thoughts?

I have been working in SEA region last 4 years. I feel burned out. I have 10yoe, I have try to move to other country but I pretty much suck in LeetCode. I want to take some time off to unwind, finish some personal business, and really prepare for interviews. I would like to hear from you. I have switched from 12 LPA to 26 LPA on feb 2022 as my first switch with IC role as ETL developer . Now looking for data architect role. We Indians are so poor we can't think anything else except money. Whole Fishbowl is all about YOe and Salary. No one interested about if any company doing any innovation or not. B-Tech colleges put ads with Package and Campusing only. Almost 99% Indian YouTube thumbnail is like "5 lakh to 40 lakh", "Interview Experience in bracket 50Lpa" etc.. Hardly we can see Foreign Editorial things marked with Packages.

Considering taking a position with a small-cap in the US trying to build their legal department. The title is standard “counsel” although the work would be with the senior leadership team and reporting to the GC in Europe. How reasonable is it to ask for a bump in title - Senior counsel or Head of Legal, US? If it matters, I am a 6th year and have been told that I will be expected to hire a junior or paralegal as we build up.
