Not sure why Whole Foods would do that but good luck with Chipotle!
have you gone in to meet the general manager personally? Or at minimum meet the managers of the shift you wanna work? Find out from them directly what is available and what are the qualifications that are needed. Also, for your advantage, prepare a 30 second speech about you and your qualifications
Talking about getting a second job, and then mentioning youth unemployment in the same sentence is crazy work imo.
Management doesn't usually take recommendations from ppl who just started lol. A week into working somewhere and you're saying "hey hire these ppl" doesn't look great. Plus, most places don't knowingly hire siblings bc it can cause conflict among other things. Easier to get around if you don't have the same last name but that's a coin toss. Would be better if you just got THEM the job and helped them to practice interviews and whatnot. Instead of getting the job yourself.
Maybe they see you as competition therefore they won’t hire you unfortunately people can be petty like that’s just my opinion I’d move and apply elsewhere. Grill cook at chipotle shouldn’t be that hard just listen have a will to learn from your experienced chef and you should be ok places like Chipotle have online help as well with their workshops and what not good luck with your process.
