Our Philadelphia-area boutique firm whose practice works exclusively with nonprofits and charities is hiring due to growth. Tax is the basis of Exempt Org work. That is why I am posting here. Great practice working to further charitable missions of our clients. Good WLB (1300 hour billable requirement). Opportunity for the right person to work remotely. Food for thought this a Friday. Quiet quitting has been trending for the last few weeks. This is problematic in two ways. A) Doesn’t actually identify the root cause for burnout (I.e abuse at work or poor company culture B) Completely dismisses a whole demographic of people unable to do the bare minimum without facing penalty. Any other thoughts? https://www.theroot.com/why-is-quiet-quitting-a-thing-for-white-people-but-n-1849407594/amp

Senior creative means you’ll be relied on to nail the brief quickly without rounds and rounds of reviews. You’re reliable. And you don’t need to be managed. Honestly, it’s probably the best job - you get a certain level of autonomy and your CD’s should largely let you get on with things. You earn pretty well. It’s your vision. Bit without the stress and responsibility of managing people. I’d just keep doing what you’re doing and bringing good ideas to the table and you will be absolutely fine. Good luck 👍
If you were offered the job, you're fine. Always solicit feedback if you're extra nervous but really, don't sweat it.
I’ve been in this position before on the production side. Shrug off the mistakes because you’re gonna be making some. Keep up your confidence and make sure you have a mentor to help coach you through it. Remember this is a new job, don’t lean on what you did before, make sure to work hard on the new stuff. Good luck.
Lastly, a old coworker of mine used to give me great advice: remember they hired you knowing your resume and work. Don’t apologize for not knowing something you shouldn’t have already known.
