Hey folks, need some advise, I finished my loop for a GCP TAM role in early December and the recruiter just got back saying the feedback was positive and I need a call with the hiring manager to ensure alignment. He specifically said it’s a 30 minute conversation and not an interview, can anyone advise on what to expect, should instill treat this as a final interview? I’m assuming they’ll want to know more about my profile and what I’m looking to get from this role but anything beyond that?Google
Hi fishes,
Any guess how many people are laid off from Publicis sapient in past few days? Really scared for my future as I'm also under probation period and deeply regret for my choice of joining this firm...I don't understand why were they recruiting peeps when they were short of projects. Publicis Sapient

Say you were laid off as part of reduction in force but you're taking this opportunity to align yourself to opportunities that are more up your alley
No, you don't act embarrassed that you were laid of and state it in a matter of fact way if they ask. Layoffs happen literally all the time, they do not mean you are any less of an employee or person. Also, don't ever lie to an employer because they always find out one way or another
Employers aren't allowed to disclose why you left. So either take the risk of saying laid off or say you left because you wanted to try something different
Idk all of the above can sound like spin, I'd just say think about what you'd want to hear as the interviewer. For me: 1) you're serious about/not blowing off the scenario and 2) realizing it's just the next step in development and 3)look for ways to improve yourself/align with what you want to be doing

Always make it sound like u loved it and it happened because WE miscalculated/misforecasted and WE had to let he whole team go
No. Don't lie about it cause you have nothing tone ashamed of. Everyone you know will get laid off once or twice in their careers, if not more. The recruiter should not even blink it is so common. Focus on what you can do for them-not on the past
