Hi Fishes, Y.O.E 7.5+ years. Tata Consultancy TCS is offering 25LPA including variable pay and everything. So just 15% increment on my current salary since they mentioned I am leaving my current organization within 1 year.
They mentioned 8-12% is VP plus 80k from that salary is paid at the end of each year. Is it a good enough salary for 7.5+ yoe candidate. Also any heads up for the things I should look out for will be really helpful.

I vaguely remember hearing that after they split from Booz Allen the ampersand symbol had a lot of prestige/status (like partners had & cufflinks) because they were the strategy arm and thus they wanted to keep the ampersand in the name. And they weren’t allowed to use the name Booz commercially in a new entity so couldn’t keep that part Though this could all could be an urban legend
Plus we do strategy & ...
And never forget
It was available to trademark in all 150+ jurisdictions where they operate
When they were Booz Allen and then Booz and Co, they had a publication called Strategy & Business. The name came from that

Ended a new name. It signifies that they don’t do “just” strategy; they view themselves as the “practical strategists” who do strategy and something else.
Just wait till PwC public sector's new brand announcement. It's so terrible that you'll forget all about Strategy&.

2) it was for branding reasons, not spelling reasons, the legal issues came about. BAH and Booz agreed that a change in ownership of either of their companies would result in a name change
SC1 and McK1 are right.
As a part of the split from BAH, the agreement was that if Booz & Co were ever acquired, they would have to give up the Booz brand.

The combined Booz + PwC would become a category of one firm as it would be the only entity that has deep service offerings across the spectrum of consulting services. Since Booz did strategy and PwC did too many things to summarise into one word, the new brand was left open to invite conversation. Strategy & ______ (anything PwC wanted to use to fill the blank).
For the record, Booze & wasn’t a typo.... thereforore no legal issues
