McKinsey & Company Hi all! Any fishes at BCG and/or McK have time to chat sometime within the next few days/weeks?
I’m a consulting analyst at Accenture, really interested in strategy work (mainly tech/software clients but open to all backgrounds) hoping to make the jump some time next year. I’d very much appreciate connecting to understand your journey with the firms and the work you do.
Thanks in advance, and happy holidays!

If you're trying to find out more about a specific career, it's really useful to chat to someone who's already working in the job. I've come across this mentoring/messaging platform that has quite a few UK professionals who are ready to answer questions. It's called Connectr (formerly My Kinda Future). Here's the site (it's free): https://inspire.connectr.co.uk/BrighterFutures/mentors

Hi all, does anyone know of any recruiters or hiring managers that work in Affirm Inc. I've been applying for a couple of jobs with them . The role I have applied for I know lam a extraordinary fit for
100% and can help the company/ department succeed. I have a good deal of experience with this role and would love to talk to a recruiter or a hiring manager more about this. If anyone
could reach out to me if you have any information on that I would greatly appreciate it.

Not all school admin positions are union, in fact a lot are not. At least the ones I looked into never have been. I would also say school positions can be hard to move up in amd the pay isnt on the high end, though still decent. I would suggest state jobs if you can get in and work your way up there. Those often have greats security and once your in, there is always possibility for advancement opportunities. A con for those types of jobs is the time spent in the hiring process. I was a finalist a couple of times (at one point down to myself and just one other), and the start to finish length was almost 6 months for one position, and almost a year for the other. All that to be rejected in the end. It's not for everyone to go through that.
