So over the morning huddle because standing in a circle while someone reads a piece of paper I can already see in my email is a waste of life. We are already late starting our tasks, the patients are waiting, and we’re forced to listen to inspiring quotes and corporate metrics that have zero impact on our actual day. Why is leadership so obsessed with these mandatory rituals that just delay us from doing our actual jobs? Does anyone actually find the morning huddle helpful?
