I don't find it tacky at all. I wear my stuff all the time. Plus, it's hassle-free marketing. I wear my branded shirts to the gym, grocery shopping, etc. We have hats, too, and my husband wears them everywhere.

This is my thought too!

If you have it, absolutely, and whenever you see fit. It's free (- the cost you paid for it) advertising. Get your money's worth and be proud of what you've built.

Thank you!

Since I’m in the fitness industry, all the shirts I wear to the gym have my logo on them! Im proud to wear it

I will be honest, I find that a little bit tacky. We do have some branded clothing but I try not to wear it, as the CEO.

Tacky in the workplace, outside of the workplace, or both?

I enjoy designing shirts and hats for my ventures, but only wear them occasionally. Wear clients and partners swag sometimes too

I need an assistant/paralegal. Probably part time at first. I live/work in a small city in Oklahoma, solo practice. I would like approx 10 billable hours/week (if part time) from them. What do i look for in one? Pay amount? (Most here make around $12/hour). Incentives for bonus money?

Mid-level associate at a mid-size regional insurance defense firm practicing coverage litigation. Salary is capped b/c my firm only does I.D./coverage and has no direct-hire comm clients. Second round of interviews with a comm lit boutique where I would be the only associate with 5 partners. Other than partner track, salary/benefits, and switching from coverage to general comm lit, what qualities of the move should I be thinking about as I weigh my options? I've never worked at another firm.

Looking to refer a friend in the Las Vegas area to an independent advisor for term insurance and basic retirement planning.

I know this is small dollars, but my firm only pays $25 per months for my cell phone. We all work remotely, so using cell a lot. Is it silly for me to push for full reimbursement? Is that pretty standard?

Really confused as to whether to incorporate my NY- based makeup startup as an LLC or an S-corp? Not based in NYC if that matters and no revenue yet. Should I be looking into Delaware at all (specifically a Delaware C-Corp) if I do plan on raising capital at some point down the line? Also - for any FDA lawyers out there, what is the problem with developing makeup (specifically foundations) with SPF? I've heard it's "heavily regulated." What do I need to be aware of? Thanks in advance !!

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team? I'm looking for recommendations for two areas: 1) in general laying the groundwork in a startup to have the tools and especially processes in place to scale, and 2) tactical focus on building a SaaS project. I've been promoted into a management role from Dev roots, so need to learn more PM processes to be an effective manager in day job, plus would like to start building my own SaaS solution.
