I'm wanting to know what people think is better. Kaiser or ucla health for working as an admin staff. Ucla seems to have good pay from what I see on the job descriptions but kaiser only shows pay grade. Ucla has pension and a raise it seems every year. I have felt this way many times in my career and have had to remind myself that I work harder than anyone in this building and they wouldn't have hired me if I wasn't capable. Imposter syndrome tries to rear its ugly head but I try not to let it.
Imposter syndrome will have a tendency to follow you into whatever you go to next, if you did try something else. It can be a real struggle to deal with it. If you are getting good feedback I would take that as a sign everything is going well, can be good to look at it for the benefits, but means nothing if it does weigh you down.
I’m reading a really good booked called “the confidence gap.” It’s different from other self help books I’ve read. You might want to check it out.
