Hii Guys, Could anyone give me some clarity on the below point. I have cleared 2nd round of technical interview at Deloitte, but my candidature is still showing as interview in progress at Deloitte careers page. I had a discussion with HR on this and she told me that next process is pending from management side. It's been almost 10 days since from 2 nd round of interview. How much more time does it gonna take, any idea? Or is it normal. Please help me with this 🙏🙏 .Deloitte

In some states and cities it's required to put salary info in job postings, but in a lot of places companies will leave it out. If it was a job I found interesting I might apply without seeing that, but I'd want to get an idea of what the pay is early in the interview process. I wouldn't want to waste a lot of time to find out they're thinking of paying next to nothing.

Yeah it's definitely worth trying to find out asap but surely they know how much of their own time they're wasting by not providing it!?
Organizations use a HRIS like Workday to create and post job opportunities internally, externally, and across hiring platforms. When doing this a template is created outlining job function and qualifications. These are used to speed up the hiring process and allows different leaders within the organization to own hiring instead of a HRM. From my experience companies post job ranges for most salary positions and specific hourly pay when it is mandated by a specific state. A lot more than people relies go into pay rates. Your hire rate can be adjusted by a CRM based off of pre employment assessments and how many years of experience you select when using a hiring platform.
I want to know the range a company is looking to pay. I don't want to waste their time or mine if we're not in the same ballpark.
I feel like it's intentional and definitely puts me off. If they were proud of what they were planning to offer, they'd include it - that's the surest way for them to make sure solid candidates apply. I don't let it keep me from applying, but I definitely have lower expectations when there's no salary range included.

Yeah I think that's true but why bother wasting people's time because they'll just have presumably more applicants and alo more people just not interested...

Definitely intentional. I’d bet they were looking to reel in as many candidates as possible and then reveal the pay, all to not discourage anyone who initially looks at the job posting. I personally don’t apply to postings that don’t have a salary range listed
At this point. Anything as far as pay work's for me. So them not posting it doesn't phase me
