Hey Guys,
I got a call from Infosys HR on 16-September-2022 that I have been successfully selected for the job position of Test Analyst at Infosys, as per our conversation I have to receive an offer letter within 15 days, but I haven’t received it till now.
Now They have sent a mail that your Candidature is on hold. Is this happened with anyone else also.
Please do suggest on this guys.

Hi guys :) Glad to join fishbowl and this community. Guys I have an offer of 14.41 ctc from a big 4 (11 is fixed).
Technology-Microsoft Dynamics 365(I am a functional consultant in SCM and HR; Relevant exp: 3 yrs & Total exp: 4 yrs).
My interviews in IBM are done and I am waiting for the salary discussion with HR.
What is the likely offer that I am going to get? Any idea? (My expectation is 16.5 lpa ctc). I will adjust my expectations as per replies here.
Any response is highly appreciated :)

If someone calls ahead of time that they’ll be late and my schedule can still accommodate, I don’t hold that against them.
I think you did a good job at calling and sending an email, I’m sure you apologized when you got there also. I think that’s a good sign.
Shit happens. You did the responsible thing. I doubt it will matter.
It happens on both sides. HR might notice but the people interviewing you probably didn’t mind. I’ve seen it happen so many times the other way, where either I’m late to interview someone or I’m passing a candidate onto the next person, and that person is stuck in a meeting. Don’t sweat it
How was the interview?
Since you called likely with enough time for them to accommodate, you should be fine. If you hadn't is (5 min before the interview and we're an hour later late), it's a completely different situation. If it was 5 min before and you were 5 min late, I don't think I'd even register that on my radar
I think you can tell when someone is late because they always are, versus a one-time mistake.
I showed up a day early. So whatever happens, at least you didn't do that.
P.s. I got the job anyway.
How late? How many people did you meet? In my experience, interview agendas shift around constantly. The only people who may have registered your tardiness were HR. If there was good chemistry and you are super-diligent and responsive in follow-up, you’re probably fine
As long as the hiring manager knows you acknowledged it and apologized, I wouldn't worry about it. Shit happens. I'd much rather have a top quality candidate who was late for the interview than an average one who was on time.
I was late to my interview , called ahead of time . They made a point of mentioning it in passing ...interviewed went great so I’ve been there now 3 yrs .
Oh god, I’m usually always late to interviews. I live in NYC though, so I tend to blame the Subway. Even so, I’ll contact everyone 20mins-ish before and go “OH GOD IM STUCK UNDERGROUND”
I’ve only lost one job offer so far, lol.
I’ve done it twice and it was fine
I thought it went really well. I met with a few people - liked them all a lot - had good conversation. If it weren’t for my late arrival I would be feeling really good about the opportunity...
I mean, were you coming from your other job and was it reasonable? I've landed jobs where something unforeseen delayed me a little e.g. A meeting ran late and a car accident caused traffic when going across town
SDAD1... I did... I was careful not to “overdramatize”, but wanted to be sure I acknowledged and apologized (upon arrival)
@SD1... 15 minutes ... it was mortifying and horrifying.... that’s probably an over-dramatization - just not at all my SOP, and now I know why. I can’t stand being late!! I met with 3 people... there was a 4th, but that person ended up having a conflict. I’ve definitely already followed up, etc. (w HR, and with each person I met with)
Don’t sweat it. I once went to the wrong address for an interview. Called saying I wasn’t finding the building... (DUH) When we realized I was at the wrong place, I immediately apologized and rescheduled the interview to the next day. I thought to myself: “well... that’s over”. Meeting went well, got hired and stayed there for a couple of years. Shit happens.
I’ve been late a bunch of times for several interviews and it has never affected the final outcome.m, it’s not a big deal.
I was late for one thanks to a freak torrential downpour, called and emailed ahead, and still got the job. If the interview still went well, you’re probably fine!
One time I showed up 45 minutes late because I went to the wrong place... but I got the job! Definitely something you can overcome
