Sometimes I’m surprised how smart some customers are in taking full advantage of the system—almost to the point of abusing it. Today, I spoke to someone who constantly opens and closes credit cards with small limits just to collect bonus points. He knew exactly when and how to do it for each card. Maybe it’s clever, maybe it’s just too much effort. Personally, I couldn’t handle that kind of hassle just for rewards, but he seemed to have it all figured out. Still felt a bit odd to me.

With product design questions, I struggle to identify user groups. Once I do everything starts flowing and I’m confident. But the initial identification of user groups is something I find challenging. What’s your go-to way of doing this? For example, the question “design a podcasting app for truck drivers.” What types of truck drivers can I select so that I can prioritize a user group to focus on and begin identification of pain points and solutions?

Mid level Electrical Engineer in the greater Baltimore, MD area making $115k base w/ $20k sign on bonus. No yearly bonus. I started this job in April of this year. 2-3 years experience. When I onboarded they told me to expect promotion to EE III in about a year. I raised a complaint to the us learner team and they reverted my credit points back to be compliant as of june 30th 2021

Today am shockingly getting an emAil that i am non compliant. In the system, my points have been again moved to next fiscal year

What are your thoughts on pay discrepancies based on family structure? Ex. He dumped the food on the counter and then he started throwing them back behind the counter. We gave him a refund and then his demeanor completely changed.
