Let me ask you this. Do I have a right to defend my home? The answer is absolutely yes. But let's say my neighbor did something that necessitated the need to defend my home. Can I then go attack the neighbor's home by eradicating the inhabitants and potentially their neighbors in the process?
Israel has the right to defend itself - it will be stronger when Bibi leaves but the real win will be when the Iran regime is ousted. Iran has funded and coordinated terrorist proxy groups to attack Israel from all sides for decades, not sure why people would accept this.
If terrorists in Canada or Mexico were consistently launching attacks on the US I’m not sure we would be so chill about it…
When the terrorists stop terrorizing and embrace peace. Tens of thousands of gazans had permits to work in Israel, that number increased every year, now it has gone to 0. This is the result of declaring war on your neighbor.
By the way, Egypt, Jordan, and Lebanon want nothing to do with Palestinians due to prior terrorism there as well.
Sir this is a Wendy’s.
Shame they’re closing down some locations
“We are not waging war to conquer foreign peoples, but to secure the life of our nation.”- Hitler, 1941
What do you think ? He was also doing the “best” to DeFeNd his nation. What an irony
Hamas fires their rounds from Gaza and hides in their infrastructure to maximize casualties if fired upon. They are cowards and they do it on purpose.

Commiting genocide on a population is not the same as defending oneself.
Pro
The framing of the genocide as "self defense" is propaganda language
Not controversial as much as grasping logic skills - and in setting up a false equivalence argument so baldly you damage your own credibility
And I don’t feel more relaxed either
It's not clear to me why if a country has the right to defend itself that therefore when it does it has 'done its best' to avoid collateral damage
Pro
Palestine was under a belligerent occupation prior to October 7th and, per international law, had a right to defend itself.
In response to October 7th, Israel did not act with moderation. They actually destroyed more than 80% of the buildings in Gaza.
Like, you're trying to only hit the bad guys, but accidentally destroy every building in the entire city? That's not believable. We're not as stupid as you think we are.

Which country is this referring to? US usually plays offense without much pretext of defending ourselves. Trump even removed th word Defense from the title of the department.
OP is making a classically bad faith argument in support of Israel’s actions in Gaza.
I’m not religious, but I do know the Bible. I assume OP is talking about a divine right, however in
the bible the Israelites were punished several times for disobeying God. This is one example, others are in Exodus, Judges and the New Testament
Go read Deuteronomy 28:64-65
64 “The Lord will scatter you among all the nations, from one end of the earth to the other, and there you will serve gods made of wood and stone, gods that neither you nor your ancestors have ever worshiped before.
65 You will find no peace anywhere, no place to call your own …
