My dad's a senior software architect getting 35 lpa for 18 years work experience in cognizant. His tech stack is AEM and he has worked on angular and Java Projects as well. Since he is getting underpaid a lot ... Hopefully someone can refer him Adobe or some product companies. Even service company with good pay also is acceptable

Stay. Slightly higher pay <<< people you like...
Don't base Deloitte's culture off some of the morons on this app. Deloitte's a great place to work. I've really enjoyed working with many of the consultants at this firm.
Also, Deloitte values your MBA far more than EY does.
@SC2 I'm in SCMO and love the network/people, chill smart and super fun, always down for a great time. Also important - will go to bat for you at year end.
I think we have equally horrible cultures
Deloitte is a great place to work. So is EY. Having done quite a few years at both I do prefer the EY culture but it probably depends on your practice. Agree that a little money right now isn't worth leaving people/culture/network you're happy with
Horrible culture?! I have loved working at Deloitte for over 8 years. Some of my best friends are in the firm. We challenge each other and have high expectations, but also have fun and have supported each other through major life events!
I made this switch last year. Generally smarter people and better work at Deloitte. Culture is case by case.
Uncle D will take care of you fam
How is your network? Do you have close connections with leadership? That's invaluable
What’s your offer? I’m similar 🚣🏼
Did you like the Deloitte people with whom you interviewed? Can you see yourself go to battle with them through thick or thin? Deloitte is a big place; you make it small by finding good people who you like to work with.
Great thread...anyone want to share the practice area at Deloitte that has a good culture? I'm about to interview with Deloitte S&O for supply chain
@Director1, @Manager1 the chance I get Manager next year is 50%. I have good connections with the leadership, but the type of projects I'm on don't give me visibility and much credit. Plus, my team is small and growth is hard.
If you've never been with Deloitte, how would you know about our culture?
Don't go talking about "trolls" or "douches" on a social media app. Give me real, tangible examples of inter firm events, projects where you worked with Deloitte staff, etc.
Great post D4.
@EY1. Asked for 130k. I'm MBA with 10 yrs industry experience. Not all in MC.
Deloittians are known (negative) for unnecessary attitudes, and that they don't knowledge share when working in teams, compete against their team mates at any cost. I've heard it from multiple Deloitte MCs and other consultants working on clients with D.
Completely false OP, but don't let me stop you from attempting to drag the Deloitte name through the mud, lol.
Couldn't be further from the truth. Deloitte takes care of its firm members.
