Started a new job that gets paid every week. But the first pay check you get paid after two weeks of working there. So I got my check but it’s only for one week. Is this an error? Can I ask for the other check?

Not an error. You're paid for the prior week's work. You'll either get paid for two weeks in your last paycheck or paid a week after your last day for your final week of work.

Thank you!

Ask your employer. If you get paid every week, would expect the check to be for a week

It's probably paid every other week, 1 week in arrears.
