Starting a company that’s launching in June with a very successful mentor backing me. It’s in a unique health commerce space and essentially would be my own brand/ website/ company that just functions on a similar model to the mentors. I pay them a percentage to essentially franchise from their complex legal and medical agreements.

Question is: what is my title in all of this? It’s a no employee game thus far so I feel like CEO is too presumptuous. Is founder better? Owner?

Hello all, I’m planning for a career switch. As I’m currently in Finance sector and planning to quit my job and to start my career in IT Hardware companies like: HP, Dell and Lenovo etc.. Before taking this jump I want to know how is the career growth in IT Hardware, how is the promotion structure in such companies. So, I've realised there's a problem with developers, a lot of them are coders, not engineers. And another issue, is that, companies don't really care about their progression as far as I'm aware, so what did you guys do in your own time to transition from being a coder to an engineer?

I am not getting interest in testing now. Wanted to switch career as data professional, data engineer to be precise (after doing some basic study).
