I’m currently working in insurance customer service at an agency. I work in the mortgage department assisting w mortgage changes , payments etc. I’ve been thinking about becoming a claims adjuster most likely for property damage . Is it worth it ??? I hear a lot of talk about how claims adjusting is a lot of work and very demanding but I think my current position has prepared me for the challenge. When you recruiters say at the end of a 15 min call.
“I will get back to you by the end of this week” does that really mean “your not right for this position”? Because this whole thing is a waste of time. I’ve did these calls with 3 recruiters and is yet to hear back from someone. Today would be the 4th recruiter that I’ve spoken to. Does this practice annoy you guys just as much as it does us? I'm thining about apply for a job at the SAP directly or going into a supply chain role.
My goal is a good work life Balance, traveling at least 1 time a Month international and a salary of about 85k.
