Take good notes and stay organized with your tasks. Check in often with project leadership.

Pick a fight with the biggest person on the team.
As a fellow Associate - don’t be afraid to ask questions. Being brand new, you probably have higher expectations for yourself than they do. Especially being remote, it’s easy to feel isolated but be communicative & admit when you’re stuck.
This is good advice. The best way you can also support the team right now is by being organized. Examples include creating an organized note repository (OneNote) / taking good notes or keeping all calendars synchronized (duplicate meeting invites with dial-in information). Be a sponge for information (if the team says, “did the client say that - I forgot” being able to help through verifying/denying because you are diligent).
There is a lot to learn in first project I would focus on below:
1. Email communication and task status in meetings should be short and precise
2. Don’t assume anything and ask questions but also do some Google search before you ask others
3. Watch and understand who are the decision makers in your project
4. If you are about to miss a deadline raise a flag early or ask for help on right time than later
5. Observe if your positive work is getting noticed, you need to build your credibility through deliverables and people relationship
6. Be open and comfortable with criticism, we all make mistakes. Learn from them and build your skills
7. Be happy and relaxed
Get used to “Be better”
Don’t volunteer for extra work if you value life outside of work
Attitude is everything...ask questions, be willing to help, be friendly and introduce yourself to your teammates. Good luck!

It's going to be overwhelming and that's okay. If you're feeling lost, it's not because you suck. The first project is always tough so you need to stay mentally strong and learn the ropes.
Stay engaged, focused and avoid distractions.
Don't be afraid to say NO! Quality shouldn't be sacrificed for quantity.
Relax
Think about how you want to build your personal brand. Meaning that you should learn from leadership where there are skill gaps and you fill that void to make everyone look good.
Pro
Pay attention to what everyone on the team is doing, not just your single task.
Get to understand exactly what’s expected from you on the the task you’re given and the timeline it’s expected within. If you can’t figure out a plan to execute said task within 5-10% of the timeline allotted, check in again with your manager/ask someone more senior (+6mnth-2 YOE).
You don’t want to reinvent the wheel - don’t spend ages doing things wrong thing.
Then, once you’ve had a bit of good feedback (ask for it!) you can push your learning / contribution more. Get the basics right, honestly it’s so important, especially if you’re at a more toxic / sweatshop type firm
Take good notes, ask good questions, show initiative and have a good attitude. You might not always get pulled into all the details, but do your best to understand what's going on.
Pro
The cardinal sin of new consultants is being “low energy.” Ask questions, be eager, offer to do the small stuff. Don’t just do this with those above you, those at your level will be your best help
