Start working on discipline on your end. You can't change them, or their actions on Slack. You can force yourself to stick to the boundaries that you set or evaluate and implement new ones if they aren't working. It's frustrating because you aren't creating the problem, but you can be your own solution.
You have to set up those boundaries physically and mentally. There's no one responsible for this other than you
It's all about setting boundaries and being disciplined. Everyone is entitled to take time away from work. Sounds like you need to be a little stricter with yourself.
I delete it off my phone on the weekend and redownload it during the weekday - made a world of difference!
I struggle with this too. I can never not check my email or just ignore my phone. It has been a really hard habit to break.
Same. Even just a glimpse and it's at the back of my head. I kind of envy those who can compartmentalize work from life outside work and only accesses the former when they have to.
I used to love this app so much. Now it feels like I set my favorite song as alarm and is now detested by its sound.
