Hi all.
Has anyone in IBM been on bench for more than 4 months here?
I have been on bench for almost 4 months now & have been getting automated mails asking me to get assigned to a project by searching one by myself, else necessary action might be taken.
And are there any chances of being straightaway fired based on these automated mails?
I would genuinely need an advise from someone who is aware of this kind of situation.
Thanks in advance
I have completed HR discussion round they were asking about my LWD..I said it is officially 90 days.. so should I discuss with my present company manager about LWD before or after getting offer letter
PS: I will be released early as I am sitting idle in the project..one guy in the project got early release.

River walk is gorgeous. Check it out. The Alamo was a lot smaller than history made it seem though
San Antonio is great. Hit up Hotel Emma, a spurs game, and eat solid Tex-Mex
Mi tierra, Mary Lou’s cafe, Taco Palenque
Do stay at the Sheraton Gunter Hotel to spice up your stay lol 💀☠️

A lot. The downtown scene is decent. If your family comes over there is zoo, Japanese tea garden, icicles formation six flags.
Don’t forget about the Alamo
Lots of nice places and activities in San Antonio. Tourist spots, historical sites and TexMex food.
Churros. I think i know your client
Plenty of food options on the river walk the pearl district was up and coming when I was there a few years ago
Went to undergrad in SA. It depends on what you are after. There are some incredible taquerias in the city if you are feeling adventurous.
I would definitely grab a drink at the Menger hotel though. It was built ~20 years after the battle of the Alamo and has been party to some cool history. Teddy Roosevelt actually recruited the rough riders from the bar there. Worth a stop.
Other than that, SA is a convention city, so it’s completely built around ancillary tourism
San Antonio is a depressed “tourist destination” for the greater Texas area. It’s basically Disney world without Disney. If you like Hard Rock Cafes and electric blue margaritas you’ll love the food scene
