Depending on budget, I would look in Coppell and Irving if being near an airport is important.
You can check out Keller and Haslet area too.

I lived here it's historical that's the thing. I think the area has some revitalizing to do, probably a good time to buy there if it weren't for the overall market
Lakewood area, smaller, older homes, but very accessible to Dallas and Love field. Irving area, some newer homes and close to DFW and not bad drive to Dallas. Carrollton/Addison somewhat affordable and close to Dallas, Love, and DFW. Plano a little farther but still an option.
Check out Viridian in Arlington. Neighborhood has real nice amenities. 15-20 min to airport right in the center of DFW. Btw i am a realtor too in case you are looking. i do give back 20% of my commission back to my client. 😉
Happy to do so!
I bought in Forney. It’s near Rockwall and a definite no for DFW access. Well over an hour in traffic. DAL is accessible though.
North Arlington (The Veridian, interlochen area)
Grapevine, Carrollton and Irving are all suburbs in the mid cities.
Check out Las Colinas and Valley Ranch as well.
Carrollton, Farmers Branch, Coppell, Grapevine, Addison, Plano, Irving is meh but not terrible.

Flower Mound and Las Colinas aren’t too far and are close to airport
Coppell is nice and very close to DFW Airport. Good schools too.
Far North Dallas is also nice. Check out 75248.
Where do you work? Don’t buy anything more than 30 minutes away, the traffic in Dallas just keeps getting worse every year

I’m mostly remote. Maybe go into office once every other month. In consulting. They may have us start coming in more but for more part not worried about office. Mainly love my gym and want to stay close to mockingbird station but man so expensive for starter home in this market
Flower Mound, Highland Village, and Lantana
