Struggling to build my team. Currently juggling project work with sales with PRD/BD but can't keep up because my project teams are constantly struggling. No matter how much direction I give I end up doing a lot of the work for them when the time crunch comes. I don't have the time to micro manage but feel like I need to. How have you guys developed a group of people you can always rely on?

I used to care about and chase the opportunity to produce cool/fun/funny work. But, as of the last couple years..it’s just more about stability, keeping working relationships happy, building finances, i.e. it’s just a job. Not about pushing for the most fun creative ideas—I still do that—I just don’t care enough to fight as much if they don’t get it. Definitely still feel genuinely defeated when truly awesome concepts get glossed over by a client who has no clue what they want.
