Teaching is the profession that creates all others professions

It's hard to argue with that. In some ways my elementary school was my first incubator. Lots of good ideas, and it was just a matter of finding out that a lot of them wouldn't work. But picking up that concept of live and learn was priceless.

Yes, teachers are invaluable assets to our future.

I was a teacher for over a decade and I have the utmost respect for teachers. This is coming from a place of genuine curiosity based on my experiences over my career — I think maybe it used to be and in some places still is but in others - it’s still too structured on blind compliance and regimented routines. I don’t see kids coming out with the same critical thinking, willingness to try new things, or even well-rounded enough exposure to “all other professions.” Again, not saying teachers and school aren’t valuable - just questioning the way we’ve always “done school” and if that’s still how it should be done.

Really confused as to whether to incorporate my NY- based makeup startup as an LLC or an S-corp? Not based in NYC if that matters and no revenue yet. Should I be looking into Delaware at all (specifically a Delaware C-Corp) if I do plan on raising capital at some point down the line? Also - for any FDA lawyers out there, what is the problem with developing makeup (specifically foundations) with SPF? I've heard it's "heavily regulated." What do I need to be aware of? Thanks in advance !!

Any good recommended books on how to build a scalable product and team?
