Hi all, I just got a job offer at PwC for a senior consultant position. The salary is 30% above my total comp right now, but I’m just worried about the amount of work I will have to put in compared to my amazing work life balance now. Does anyone have any experience moving from industry to consulting? I need some advice on what to do. I’m still early in my career (1.4yoe) so I feel like I shouldn’t care too much about wlb, but at the same time, I don’t want my mental health to suffer either.

Even though I was giving 110%, it wasn't the right job for me, and I realized I would be more effective at finding the right move if I focused on my job search.
This perfect, and I would also even say that you cared about the clients and wanted to transition them to other attorneys thoroughly before becoming distracted by a job search.
It’s ok for people to take a break, don’t worry too much.
Are you going to a law firm, or an in-house role? If it’s the latter, I don’t think anyone cares.
Don’t use a recruiter if you are not currently employed. Firms might not pay a fee for you, but might be opening to hiring you if they don’t have to.
