I'm staying fully remote. I am able to see way more patients and do more meaningful work. Plus, I don't have to worry about last minute cancellations due to health concerns, or patients who decide to come in to appointments while they're clearly contagious with whatever ailment may be afflicting them. I haven't had so much as a cold since going remote, and I'd really love to keep it that way!
Yes, I'm still working remotely and have had a great experience with it. I've been able to meet with clients from all over the world, which has been wonderful. I'm considering transitioning back to the office 2 days a week, but I'm still enjoying the convenience of seeing clients from the comfort of my home. I'm eager to hear about other people's experiences with transitioning back to the office!
Do you literally see patients all over the world or am I taking it too literally? I’d like to get into
Something like that
I'm. permanent remote - mainly b/c all of my current patients are online and live all over the state of California
When COVID hit, I already had been working part time as a 1099 for Talkspace. I shut down my office. I then began working as a 1099 for Doctor on Demand also. I like working let time for two different companies because it provides some variety. In any event, working teletherapy I am earning more than I did when I had my brick and mortar office. Someone else (the platforms I work for) is handling appointment setting scheduling, billing, insurance verification, asking patients for money, and they both have their own EMR (electronic medical records) so that is take care of. I don’t think I will ever go back to in-person therapy again. And now that my state passed Psypact, it opens up even more states for teletherapy with my license. It will be teletherapy until I retire.
i see one or two clients in person because I was seeing them in person before the pandemic and they requested to return back to in office visits. Other than that I think virtual works best for me
