Hello people, how common is a Amazon to PWC move ?
I’m interviewing for a Senior Associate role and TC seems to be more competitive than role in L5.
TC $114k- Base AMZ- $73k +$38kstocks ( vesting 17k$ due next year)
TC $135k Base PWC -$81$ + Bonuses ( 50k$)
Looking for managerial skills which the PWC role avails, and L6 promo doesn’t seem to be happening soon in current role. I’m also mentally stretched. I hear WLB in PWC is just as busy but can anyone confirm if this move makes any sense. Google Amazon

Seems like salaries have gone up a decent amount the last few years. At least in public accounting
Seriously I don’t know what they’re getting at. A1 salaries at my firm have gone up 20k in the last four years from when I started. Maybe they’re looking at unlicensed small industry jobs?
Join them…in India..?
Salaries are more expensive and PPP is going up in the areas where we outsource over time. The long term and better solution is to automate things because eventually it will be about the same cost whether it is in house or outsourced.
Birth rates are lower in the US so likely the pool of potential resources will go down here, which could limit US business growth, so it would make sense to outsource currently
By PPP, are you referring to purchase price parity? How is that relevant when outsourcing allows a firm to earn revenue in one currency and pay expenses (labor) in a different currency?
