I've been working in HR operations for the past 3 years. Total work experience being 3.10 years. My current CTC is 6 LPA. I'm looking to change companies and want to get into a decent MNC. Will I be able to get a 70-80% hike taking into consideration my experience matches the profile?
Any advice on which profiles and companies to apply for? And any advice on how to grab a job at Amazon for the same would be perfect.
Wanted to highlight Prudential Financial’s hiring practices. They rescinded my offer once I attempted to negotiate the salary. The official reason given was that I didn’t “sound excited enough”.
They then admittedly gave the offer to someone who was less qualified. There were other red flags throughout the job offer process that the HR team should overall be ashamed of.
Any from ServiceNow willing to do a referral??

If i got selected I am planning to move with my family.

Anyone willing to refer to Amazon or Google?
I have an initial recruiter phone interview with Square Thursday. Is it it just a phone call or is it a video call and they didn’t specify. If it’s a video call what’s the dress code like? I’m coming from consulting so all my interviews were in suits. Any tips to get past the recruiter phone screen?

Get a promotion to manager first and you will have more options
You’re going to be competing with people at the M level for the position. With that being said, certain companies give less importance to your consulting title and more importance to YOE.
Get to a manager level and exit in year 2-3 for a director if you have 10+ years of experience. Will probably take 6+ month in a good economy to find the exit.

Thanks, all for the advice! Was hoping I’d get to exit sooner but this being my promo year I think I will stick it out and see what happens!
How’d you arrange for a promotion in 2 years instead of 3? Was it based on prior experience or something else?
