Any Spotify people here? Noticed there’s an AM role going at the moment in the UK but not sure what experience level it is. For reference I’ve got 6 years in ad sales experience with 3 years management (both in music industry). Would this be comfortable or is it worth holding out for AD?

Hi everyone! Does anyone in here work for Omada Health ? I have an interview next Wednesday for a PT Member Support Agent role and am unclear on what the pay could be. Glassdoor has the pay estimate at 42k-48k, but I found a comment where someone in the same role mentioned only getting paid $12/hr. I have 8 years of experience as a CSR but I’ve had a couple year gap in between now and my last job. TIA Any advice helps .

I'm in the same boat as you, OP. Some MBA programs have supply chain courses so I'm trying to find a teaching job where I can put my experience (12 years SCM) to good use. The salary is probably not as high in academia, and I'm not sure about the workload, but I just need a change of environment.
I don't want to be a naysayer, but university jobs are extremely hard to get. We are oversaturated with PhD grads who can't find jobs anywhere and end up taking adjunct positions at small colleges. I would try adjuncting first to see if it's really what you want to do. It is not a very glamorous career path.

Reach out to professors at your university or near-by business school and offer to come in as a guest speaker about a topic you are passionate about. This can help you decide if you are ready to do it full-time.
I’ve found that I love academia but am not willing to leave my career. I volunteer as a guest speaker, serve on my colleges alumni board, and help with the intern recruitment efforts at my company.
