Hi Everyone! I have been working in Salesforce for about a year now. But I am not enjoying my work as it's mainly on backend. I have been wanting to move to Web Dev. But someone suggested that like if I like frontend I should try LWC instead as I'm already into Salesforce. So I'm quite confused which way should I go. Can anyone help me with the same Tata ConsultancyAccentureDeloitteZS AssociatesInfosysSalesforceSalesforceAmazonMicrosoft

I moved from internal audit to finance so it’s definitely doable!
Cyber risk management would be good. However, it really depends on what you enjoy and why you want to leave risk assurance. You don't want to end up moving into another role that shares too many similarities with why you wanted to move out of risk assurance to begin with.
Skills aren’t transferable to a lot of places outside of audit…best thing I did was leave risk assurance for a full time m7 mba and go into management consulting at bcg. I learned more in my first 6 months at bcg than 4 years in RA and it’s not even close.
Yea makes sense… I got my mba from an M7 for the sole purpose of recruiting for MBB. The mba itself will have some utility in the short run but as time goes on it will have less and less relevance. My desire also stemmed from wanting to get out of risk/compliance work.
Also, just to let you know:
Post MBA base salary at BCG is 190k with 12.5-25% bonus + 5% in profit sharing
2 years post MBA, after first promo, its 225k base, 25-50% bonus + 10% profit sharing.
The pay continues to scale quickly as you progress.
Could move to cyber risk and security compliance.
D1 - what certs did you go with? CISSP? I have mostly IT SOX and Compliance experience but not necessarily geared towards security and looking to move that way as well.
Could move to risk management (2nd line). Or go back for you mr MBA and make a career change
Start out thinking what you’d be interested in for a career before deciding on MBA programs. If you go to a top MBA program and get the right internship you can pivot into anything you want. Not just Project Management, unless that it what you are interested in.

PwC has various roles outside of risk assurance. Happy to refer!
They already work at pwc lol
Do you enjoy the work?
Do you want to completely leave the field behind and move to something else?
I have not been enjoying the work lately. I want to leverage my project management skills and IT experience but pivot to something outside of audit. Do you know of any good options?
I'm in the same boat, London office here
Some of my colleagues went for contract management /commercial roles. I’m looking for either CMAAS or FDD roles as I came from audit, not a lot of opportunities now.
