This is not the first time that I got rejected after the the second-round interview with the hiring manager, namely, the AGC to whom the position report. I am not able to figure out why, which may help me improve my interview skills. I am very down. Any suggestions?

There could just be a better fit for the role it might not be about you.

Do you feel like your skills and experience match the job description? What kinds of questions did they ask?

like

That could definitely be a factor. If you don’t have experience communicating with the business that can be a hard thing to teach someone to do well

I wouldn't get down. I imagine you'd still be slugging against waves of people spamming applications now that bonuses are vested. Plus a lot of these places waste your time by interviewing you after they've filled the position or just using you as a name to throw in the ring so they can say they conducted a fair interview process when the plan was always to fill the position with an internal hire.

How did you feel at the end of those interviews? Did you feel like they went well?

I thought it went well. That’s the mysterious part…I was not sure if my feeling was incorrect and could not figure out if sth was wrong 😑

Female here and I hate to say it! But whenever I’m pull to a new project I secretly hope I don’t get a female lead. 😞 I had some interesting experiences with women leads, which it does not apply to all women!, but I feel a bit hesitant and I feel is ptsd lol how can I overcome this mentality?! I’m pro women and equally etc etc but I often rather deal with a dude lead Bc we women are so hard on each other. Smh 🤦🏽‍♀️
