Those of you who are seasoned (and deem yourself successful) data scientists - do you consider yourself a DS generalist, or did you find success by becoming a DS with specific business domain/industry expertise (customer analytics at retail company, infra maintenance on data infra team, etc)?

Does promotion happen while you're on bench in IT companies?
Hi All, I've completed two years in my current company and I was recently released from my project and my manager is trying to assign me to a new project hopefully.
My question is, will my promotion happen as I was eligible for the same and I was released to the bench as I'll be moving on to another project soon. Can someone enlighten me on this?

Recently obtained my aPHR and I’m considering next steps in advancing my career. I am eligible to sit for the SHRM-CP presently and will not be able to sit for a PHR until 09/2023. Any pros/cons with either certification? Should I wait to sit for PHR or go for SHRM-CP now?

How does one most effectively make the transition into management from an Individual Contributor?

I've been an individual contributor for 4 years in Tech, have 8 years of experience total. I'm finding it difficult to make the management transition despite having management experience, performing beyond expectations, and having a genuine passion for enablement and development.

Hello there! I currently work in billing at a medical office. I got my Bachelors in Psychology a few years ago but I couldn’t find a position that seemed like a good option for me that was well paying and fulfilling. I tried working as a tech at an Applied Behavior Analysis clinic but it wasn’t a good fit. I’m hesitant to try case management or social work because I worry I won’t like it but I want to use my degree in Psychology. Does anyone have any ideas for me?

YoE 12.5, cctc 10.5 and holding offers till 23.5 fixed and few more in pipeline, expecting till 27 with 40 days left in np. Quick survey: Do you guys think having a template package to envelope an ML model as an application would be helpful.
