$1,800 this year, about $1,600 last year. Ours is based off of overall firm performance as a percentage of our salaries as a base, but if you do more in the firm, you can get more. These last two years I’ve just been plugging away on client work and not focusing on BD and internal initiatives.
Nothing fun lol - bulk of it will be socked away for the annual renter’s insurance, which went up, like, 300 bucks
For the first time this year, my company decided to give us our bonuses spread out over the whole calendar year. So once a month I get a bonus of about $800. I'm hoping for Christmas they give us over $1000 honestly.
I’m sorry was that 20,000 a typo on him at 2000? Probably not I don’t know what he does for a living to earn $20,000 and just a bonus but I’ve also chosen the wrong profession. I got a $50 gift card for my Christmas buns this year and I am very depressed reading that I could’ve had $20,000 instead
Pro
It was not a typo!
Wow what does he do that he got that big of a bonus because clearly I also went into the wrong profession. I don't even get a bonus, I get a $25 Amazon gift card. When I worked at a law firm before this I got $1,000 once and thought that was amazing and then found out they gave my coworker $10,000 lol.
People who work in finance tend to get major bonuses, that's one of the main attractions of the job. I have friends who would get a bonus in the thousands. And they'd say top people they worked with could go out and buy new cars with their bonus. I won't be going to a car dealership with my bonus, well, unless it's Hot Wheels or Matchbox.
